Jean-Philippe "J.P." Dobrin is a documentary producer, cinematographer, and still-photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. For over a decade, he has specialized in human interest stories for news outlets and commercial clients. He has worked in India, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia, South America, and around the United States to capture visuals of everyday life.
He became passionate for documentary work while completing his BFA in photography at the Academy of Art San Francisco. He went on to learn documentary film at the U.C. Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
